Figth club

Bunch  people question mental aspect of humans.  Fight club is the best example of this.  It about one worker who need help sleeping go to these meetings and then he meet Marla.  He a;so meet Tyler on an airplane and begins to hangout with them in his daily life. In the day he normal at night he fights.

Marla is describe to be somewhat id driven but can be social if she need to or cares.  She the ego of the main character due to being able to be sufficient enough to withstand people.  She has enough of social filter to keep her self  look as a sane person.

Tyler is driven by the id.  He usually  had many desires.  He has no social filter that allow it to be acceptable to society and takes what he wants.  Here an example the scene where he took someone expensive car and just rode off with it.

The main character has a super ego.  He has rules where he allow to act to people a certain way.  He fit in with society he still has a id and ego  that wakes him want certain things.  Here example of where he wants all those furniture in his apartment need latest set that he liked.

Do The Right Thing

A big community of blacks, hispanics, some koreans, and Whites  in one specific neighborhood.  They live and do things they normally do.  Mookie who is the main character  of the story.   Mookie works at  Sal's pizzeria.

In the community they face loads of racism.  In the scene where they have close up of each race and all the name calling of who they hate.  Even use rude and grotesque names from history.  Calling blacks monkeys and and Italians garlic breath.
Even there is economic discrimination in the neighborhood.  Only Koreans and whites that only own businesses in the neighborhood.  Throughout the film you only see  Sal's pizzeria and Korean 's mini mart.  this place a stereotype on blacks are below poverty.

Not one person of color ask me that question" this means basically not  many people of different races are even consider to be asked this question.  It not even understandable about Mookie  to throw the trash can at through Sal's pizzeria. Races in the neighbor were under so much tension.

Boyz n the Hood

This movie group of young black men who grew up together in neighborhood.  Learn things and social influences on them. They barely any parental influence than Trey's father.  This  upbringing of living with his father and shows understanding of becoming a good man and perspective of  tough guise.

Trey who is furious and has a ok future and Ricky better future, Trey is better man now due to the choices of rather going to college and not chase the guys who kill Ricky.  Dough -boy  put on a tough guise as though in one scene he show his true colors.  Trey understands Dough boy more than Ricky.

Some lessons as in planing, decisions, and responsibility.  Trey earlier in the film where he tell his father about girl he had sex with and how he didn't have a condom on when he did her.  That one of lesson he trying to teach him about decision making as he would end up in the same situation as Ricky's son.

End of the film,  Trey learn something greater than all mess in the neighbor.  He learn to be a better man and was able to understand masculinity and femininity in man.  Trey learn that it was okay to be vulnerable in the two scenes where he cried in front of his dad and cried in front of his girlfriend.

Tootsie

In this film a man dress as a woman to get more acting parts.  The main character Michael experiences of the everyday life of woman.  He sooner realizes how women feels when treated that way.  He understand how it feel to be vulnerable and strong due to his gender.  It is difficult for man to be able  to understand feminist point of view.

Due to the humor of this movie and his position of being a man rather than a female makes this film a satire to feminist view.  It has great perspective but too contradiction  in the main character role and role Dorothy  role to females on the show.  Man is strong and aggressive so why can't woman do the same things as well.  If Feminist supporter watch this movie she would have (A)large protest or (B) Beat up a lot guys who cross her on the street that day.

Tootsie brought out gender roles of society.  Gender roles  are not portray by just sex but by personality as well.  They use sexuality  in movie to determine status of person as well.  Women are suppose to be emotional and submissive as men are suppose to be strong and provider.

There is an good example that woman consider a low class for example, if the woman isn't pretty or look a certain way she doesn't get the role.  Men had higher status than woman for example George Gaynes the male actor they call tongue, was horrible at memorizing lines but he still kept his job.

Thelma and Louise

Thelma and Louise are describe as the woman version of Bonnie and Clyde. Louise has big role convinces her friend Thelma to go on a road trip with her.  They end up in serious and are now on the run.  Louise is very masculine, but fits the stereotype of woman still wants a man.  Thelma is very submissive and has been oppressed by her husband for a very long time.  They change from even clothing to character traits as well.

They show feminist point of view  from their own life experiences. They show two dynamic characters that  change what was wrong though their lives.  They took  the view too the extreme due to social status of woman.  This  end  sadly like Bonnie and Clyde but they did not  allow them to be oppress by the police or others.
